A deteriorated film, shot in a Latin American country in 1982, presents a succession of everyday images. A few stand out, testifying to the violent events that took place on May 9 of that year. A man’s voice interspersed between the images presents the official version of events. Beneath its apparent banality, the film raises suspicion that what really happened was covered up.
