Yusuf travels through Kurdish villages, collecting fading folktales to publish in a book. The film takes us on that journey. We witness his bond with Kurdish women, elders and children, and we see the family pressure, social taboos and financial struggles he faces. In spite of everything, he keeps going, even when he feels like giving up.
